At 9 o’clock in the morning on November 15, the kick-off meeting of the final review of the 25th "Henan Star" Design Art Competition was held in the conference room.

Famous scholars attended the meeting:  Zhang Daling, Director of the 25th "Henan Star" Design Art Competition Organizing Committee, Liu Shisheng, consultant of the competition Organizing Committee, Vice Director of the Academic Committee of CBDA, and Vice Director of the CIDA, Li Xiangru, Vice Director of the Competition Organizing Committee, and Executive Chairman of HPTA, Prof. Jiang Bin from Shanghai Normal University, Dean Cao Yang from Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, Vice Dean Wang Xiaoyu from Zhengzhou University, Dean Chen Wei from Henan Normal University, Dean Wang Qingbin from Henan University of Technology, Dean Chen Tao from Henan Institute of Technology, Dean Ren Liuzhu from Zhengzhou University of Finance and Economics, and other expert representatives of universities in Henan Province. Wang Weifeng, Wang Aichun, Chai Junfeng and other representatives of relevant companies attended the meeting. The HENU Arts College’s CPC Committee Secretary Yang Jiangtao, Dean Xi Weiquan, Vice Secretary of CPC Committee Hu Chunzhen, and Vice Dean Cai Yushuo present at the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Li Xiangru.

Yang Jiangtao expressed a warm welcome to the leaders of HPTC and expert representatives on behalf of the college. He said the college would fully cooperate with the association to do well in the final review of the 25th "Henan Star" Design Art Competition.

Zhang Daling expressed gratitude to the college for the preliminary preparations, and announced the name list of reviewers and supervisors for the final review of the 25th "Henan Star" Design Art Competition.

Dean Xi Weiquan introduced the relevant matters of the review committee and groups.

Liu Shisheng announced the rules of the final review, and emphasized the principles of supervision, hoping the reviewers would be objective, practical and realistic, and perform their duties.

Professor Jiang Bin declared the commitment letter. The committee members voted to adopt the final review method, and signed the commitment letter.

Director Zhang Daling, Professor Liu Shisheng, Secretary Yang Jiangtao, and Vice Secretary Hu Chunzhen issued letters of appointment to the jury of experts.

After the meeting, the review members of the Graphic Design group, Product Design group and environmental Design group went to the respective exhibition halls to start the review work.

After a day of final review, 15 works won gold awards, 29 won silver awards, 46 won bronze awards and several works won the outstanding awards, which were selected from 245 design works in the professional group. As for the student group, there were 26 gold awards, 48 silver awards, 73 bronze awards and several outstanding awards selected from 484 finalist design works. The final review of the 25th "Henan Star" Design Art Competition was brought to a successful close.

The 25th "Henan Star" Design Art Competition was sponsored by HPTA, and undertaken by HPTA Design Committee and the Arts College of HENU.
